In recent surveys conducted on Cellmark's behalf we've found that over 25% of GP's surveyed had discussed the issue of DNA Paternity Testing with one or more of their patients in the past 6 months. Cellmark has always been aware of the important role that healthcare professionals play - these results show just how important that role is.

Cellmark aims to make the process as simple as possible for both you as a sampler and your patients. We provide simple clear instructions and all the necessary paperwork, including background information which can assist you in advising your patients.

As well as providing general information and leaflets and a waiting room poster you can apply online to become a registered DNA sampler on our behalf. Joining our list means that we can pass on details of your surgery to people living in your area who may not actually be patients of your surgery.

The vast majority of the cases will be standard these cases normally involve testing mouth swab samples from one or both parents and one or more children DNA paternity or maternity testing but on occasions you may be asked for assistance on DNA testing where there are "special circumstancesclick the link for further information".
